Uncle Joe Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Chili's baby back ribs, fajita quesadillas (with steak)and chicken crispers, all to go. With great sides like corn on the cob, mashed spuds, guacamole, etc., etc., etc. And a nice ice-cold Michelob Ultra-Lite or two to wash it all down. Si, Tio Jose es muy hungry.
_Laurie_ Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 (edited) YES...that's where we are going...they make the best margaritas....oh their food is good too...but I already ate...I'll pick up an order for ya Joe! Edited March 3, 2007 by Guest
edna Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 I ate all I could fancy and more yesterday, at a big wedding. Now I look at my sandwish and feel less excited than ever. What I was getting at is why the effervescent over taking a pill, especially if the drink tastes nasty? It works faster and my doctor gave me a full box plenty of it. So I´ll use them...
Elvish Posted March 5, 2007 Author Report Posted March 5, 2007 Popcorn and watered down coffee (half coffee, half hot water)
Uncle Joe Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Earlier I had half a toasted cinnamon-raisin bagel slathered with butter. I'm on my third giant mug of coffee. Contemplating lunch. Either leftover Chinese, or baked ham, or asparagus with egg and cheese in olive oil with onion.
Jenny Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I am drinking water and thanks to Laurie, Marc and Joe, I'm craving Chinese food
Elvish Posted March 5, 2007 Author Report Posted March 5, 2007 Ditto what Jenny said - on both counts
Blue Fish Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Three slices of hot buttered toast, two pints of milk and then two Rennies. Yay....
skybluesky Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Lunch was a turkey burger with cheddar, bbq sauce and tomato, cheddar pringles and grape juice. Dessert was cookie dough ice cream.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I'm drinking sweet tea, the official beverage of the south.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 It's on the way, along with a bowl of grits.
Uncle Joe Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Don't forget, lots of buttah and black peppa on mah grits.
The Seeker Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Yes, that too, sometimes. But more cinnamon than applesauce. Do you belong to the people who eat pasta with applesauce?
Farin Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 only one way to answer: ugh! no... applesauce is for rice pudding, pancakes and stuff like that
The Seeker Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 True. I've eaten it once, and while it wasn't bad I don't think I could get used to it.
Elvish Posted March 5, 2007 Author Report Posted March 5, 2007 I'm having a hot ham and baby swiss sandwich on a whole wheat bun, drinking lemonade. Someone ate all the salt and vinegar chips...there will be hell to pay. }
