MarcM
That lager was quite strong. It was made by a Canadian brewery with a name that looked something like "Unibrow"...not a pretty picture, but it had 9% alcohol. Wheeeee! No seven year drunk, Shannon, just a heavy buzz. _Laurie_
When ever I hear the word "lager" I think of a very embarrassing moment in high school...I had to write a sentence on the board and then divide it by labeling the subject, the verb...etc.... the sentence was "He went for a lager beer". I thought it was a typo...since I didn't know what lager was, and I wrote "He went for a larger beer".... I was wondering why the teacher was grinnin....cause I disected the sentence correctly, except for that darn word "lager".... I know this is off the subject of the thread, but oh well... Rayzor
Larger is what we all want... BTW, Laurie, you said many days ago you were drinking Labbatt Blue!? I didn't know Americans supported the Canadian Football League! My home team, the Winnipeg BLUE Bombers were named for the airplanes our city built, and a beer company! To this day they are major sponsers of our team!
