Shawna
Don't know for sure, but it sounds like part of a soundtrack rather than a single. You'll probably have to buy the CD for the movie to get that one...
Tenacious_Peaches
I don't know what the song is, but that is the funniest damned clip I have ever seen. Where's Connor? He would love it! Sorry, back to the song. It sounds like the theme from The Omen, but I don't think that's right. Perhaps a smart person will come along and help you. logan01
The comments section has the song titled as "Requiem for a Dream". I don't know if that's a song title or perhaps the theme song from the soundtrack of the movie with the same name. I believe it's the theme song from the movie titled "Requiem for a Dream". blind-fitter
There's no reason to suppose that this actually features in the Snakes On A Plane soundtrack, since it's a home-made vid done for somebody's amusement. The music may have been chosen by the creator of the clip, purely on the basis of its high drama quotient. Not having seen the film myself, I couldn't say. Funny clip though. Farin
I simpley browsed through the comments, and there was the answer (on the first page) It's "Lux Aeterna" from the Lord Of The Rings II soundtrack Link to the Song
edna
Funny... I searched in youtube and wikipedia and it seems the song is actually "Requiem for a dream", composed by Clint Mansell and it´s also on that Harry Potter movie...
Farin
then Peter Jackson just copied it for his film, and gave it another title (or the other way around)
edna
Clint Mansell Mansell was the lead singer and guitarist of the British band, Pop Will Eat Itself. Mansell also broke into the world of film scoring when his friend, director, Darren Aronofsky, gave him the opportunity to score his debut film, π. Mansell's score for π was followed up by his score for Aronofsky's next film, Requiem for a Dream. The score became a cult hit. The trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers used a remixed version of the track "Lux Aeterna", re-recorded with a full orchestra and choir. The piece, named "Requiem for a Tower", was made just for the trailer (it was not featured in either Requiem for a Dream or The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers). I found this in wikipedia... still doesn´t clarify if the song is RFAD or LA... I bet Farin is right and it´s Lux Aeterna"

blind-fitter
That was scored by Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself??! Wow. He's come a long way from "Oh Grebo, I Think I Love You", and no mistake.
edna
They were an interesting band back in the late 80s. I remember I had their first album or demo and even danced to their music... I didn´t listen to them ever since though...
Tenacious_Peaches
We've already figured this out, but I have even more, reliable proof. I emailed the people that made the clip about the music and this is the response I got: "the original music is called lux aeterna, but that particular version is called 'requiem for a tower' if you search for it on a peer to peer network."
