Sweet Jane 61
Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough ~ Patty Smyth and Don Henley I dont wanna lose you, I dont wanna use you Just to have somebody by my side And I dont wanna hate you I dont wanna take you But I dont wanna be the one to cry That dont really matter to anyone, anymore But like a fool I keep losing my place And I keep seeing you walk through that door But theres a danger in loving somebody too much And its sad when you know its your heart you cant trust Theres a reason why people dont stay where they are Baby sometimes love just aint enough Now I could never change you I dont wanna blame you Baby you dont have to take the fall Yes I may have hurt you But I did not desert you Maybe I just wanna have it all It makes a sound like thunder It makes me feel like rain And like a fool who will never see the truth I keep thinking somethings gonna change But theres a danger in loving somebody too much And its sad when you know its your heart you cant trust Theres a reason why people dont stay where they are Baby sometimes love just aint enough And theres no way home When its late at night and youre all alone Are there things that you wanted to say Do you feel me beside you in your bed There beside you where I used to lay And theres a danger in loving somebody too much And its sad when you know its your heart they cant touch. Theres a reason why people dont stay who they are Cause baby sometimes love just aint enough. Baby sometimes love just aint enough.

Elvish
For his age, he's wise He's got his mother's eyes There's gladness in his heart He's young and he's wild My only prayer is, if I can't be there, Lord, protect my child As his youth now unfolds He is centuries old Just to see him at play makes me smile No matter what happens to me No matter what my destiny Lord, protect my child While the world is asleep You can look at it and weep Few things you find are worthwhile And though I don't ask for much No material things to touch Lord, protect my child He's young and on fire Full of hope and desire In a world that's been raped, raped and defiled If I fall along the way And can't see another day Lord, protect my child There'll be a time I hear tell When all will be well When God and man will be reconciled But until men lose their chains And righteousness reigns Lord, protect my child

Red Fish
Loser - Beck In the time of chimpanzees, I was a monkey. Butane in my veins and now I've become the junkie With the plastic eyeballs, spray paint the vegetables, dog food stalls with the beefcake pantyhose. Kill the headlights and put it in neutral. Stock car flamin' with a loser and the cruise control. Baby's in Reno with the vitamin D, Got a couple of couches, sleep on the love seat. Someone keeps sayin' I'm insane to complain About a shotgun wedding and a stain on my shirt. Don't believe everything that you breathe, You get a parking violation and a maggot on your sleeve, So shave your face with some mace in the dark, Savin' all your food stamps and burnin' down the trailer park. Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Forces of evil in a bozo nightmare Banned all the music with a phony gas chamber, 'Cause one's got a weasel and the other's got a flag, One's got on the pole, shove the other in a bag. With the rerun shows and the cocaine nose job, The daytime crap with the folksinger slop, He hung himself with a guitar string. Slap the turkey neck and it's hangin' on a pigeon wing. You can't write if you can't relate, Trade the cash for the beef for the body for the hate. And my time is a piece of wax fallin' on a termite That's chokin' on the splinters. Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? (Get crazy with the Cheeze Whiz!) Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Soooooooyy.... Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Soy un perdedor! I'm a loser, baby, so why don't you kill me? Soy un perdedor!! Sweet Jane 61
Nickelback ~ Photograph Look at this photograph Every time I do it makes me laugh How did our eyes get so red And what the hell is on Joey's head And this is where I grew up I think the present owner fixed it up I never knew we'd ever went without The second floor is hard for sneaking out And this is where I went to school Most of the time had better things to do Criminal record says I've broke in twice I must have done it half a dozen times I wonder if it's too late Should I go back and try to graduate Life's better now than it was back then If I was them I wouldn't let me in Oh oh oh Oh god I, I Every memory of looking out the back door I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor It's hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye Every memory of walking out the front door I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for It's so hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye Remember the old arcade Blew every dollar that we ever made The cops hated us hanging out They say somebody went and burned it down We used to listen to the radio And sing along with every song we'd know We said someday we'd find out how it feels To sing to more than just the steering wheel Kim's the first girl I kissed I was so nervous that I nearly missed She's had a couple of kids since then I haven't seen her since God knows when Oh oh oh Oh god I, I Every memory of looking out the back door I have the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor It's so hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye Every memory of walking out the front door I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for It's hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye I miss that town I miss the faces You can't erase You can't replace it I miss it now I can't believe it So hard to stay Too hard to leave it Oh I could relive those days I don't know one thing that would never change Every memory of looking out the back door I have the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor It's hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye Every memory of walking out the front door I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for It's hard to say it, time to say it Goodbye goodbye Look at this photograph Every time I do it makes me laugh Every time I do it makes me

Blue Fish
Something Stupid Writer(s): parks I know I stand in line, until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there’s a chance You won’t be leaving with me And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all, by saying something stupid Like: I love you I can see it in your eyes, that you despise the same old lies You heard the night before And though it’s just a line to you, for me it’s true It never seemed so right before I practice every day to find some clever lines to say To make the meaning come through But then I think I’ll wait until the evening gets late And I’m alone with you The time is right your perfume fills my head, the stars get red And oh the night’s so blue And then I go and spoil it all, by saying something stupid Like: I love you (I love you, I love you,...) sexybabe101
Its not over Daughtry I was blown away. What could I say? It all seemed to make sense. You've taken away everything, And I can't deal with that. I try to see the good in life, But good things in life are hard to find. We'll blow it away, blow it away. Can we make this something good? Well, I'll try to do it right this time around. Let's start over. I'll try to do it right this time around. It's not over. 'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground. This love is killing me, But you're the only one. It's not over. Taken all I could take, And I cannot wait. We're wasting too much time Being strong, holding on. Can't let it bring us down. My life with you means everything, So I won't give up that easily. I'll blow it away, blow it away. Can we make this something good? 'Cause it's all misunderstood. Well, I'll try to do it right this time around. Let's start over. I'll try to do it right this time around. It's not over. 'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground. This love is killing me, But you're the only one. It's not over. We can't let this get away. Let it out, let it out. Don't get caught up in yourself. Let it out. Let's start over. I'll try to do it right this time around. It's not over. 'Cause a part of me is dead and in the ground. This love is killing me, But you're the only one. It's not over. Let's start over. It's not over, yeah... This love is killing me, But you're the only one. It's not over.

skybluesky
Alice Cooper - No More Mister Nice Guy I used to be such a sweet, sweet thing 'Til they got a hold of me. I opened doors for little old ladies, I helped the blind to see. I got no friends 'cause they read the papers. They can't be seen with me and I'm gettin' real shot down And I'm feeling mean. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene. I got no friends 'cause they read the papers. They can't be seen with me and I'm gettin' real shot down And I'm feeling mean. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene. My dog bit me on the leg today. My cat clawed my eyes. Ma's been thrown out of the social circle, And dad has to hide. I went to church incognito. When everybody rose, the Reverend Smith, He recognized me, And punched me in the nose. No more Mister Nice Guy, No more Mister Clean, No more Mister Nice Guy, They say he's sick, he's obscene. Foolonthehill
I love that whole album. I guess its because that album (Revolver), along with rubber soul, marks the transition into The Beatles later stuff (dont get me wrong- I love their early songs too). That and the drumming on 'Tomorrow Never Knows'.
