pinkstones
http://www.beach-backgrounds.com Now your desktop can look like you were just on holiday in the Caribbean or South Pacific or anywhere else tropical. Makes for a nice visual when the weather outside is crappy or you can't get away.

Brad_M
Here is a list of sites that allow you to play retro games from the 80's and early 90's from the old gaming systems. You can play them directly from the site, no downloading. All you need to have is Java on your computer. If you don't have Java, a notice tells you that you need to install it, which is what I did. They have lots of games and you can access the other systems games with the links at the bottom of whatever system page your on. Each site also has a category list at the top of the page to look at categories of games on that system. They aren't affiliated with any of the companies that made the games, they just host the games. Plenty of fun playing Arkanoid, Donkey Kong, Double Dragon, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World (with Yoshi!),Tetris, The Legend Of Zelda... The list goes on and on. Be advised, the graphics are archaic just like they used to be, but just as fun! Here are the sites: Nintendo 8-bit games SNES games Commodore 64 games Gameboy games Master System games DOS games
Farin
awesome links - I actually have played most games from the DOS games as a kid the only thing is the stupid QWERTY - QWERTZ difference (on German keyboards the Z and Y key are swapped compared to English ones )
