hellopeople
Does anyone have any info about this song? Bill Murray sings it in Meatballs and Steve Marting sings it in The Man With Two Brains. I can't even find any info about the guy on the web. All I know is that "Tricky" did a trip hop type version with it and that it was originally performed by Judy Garland in duet with someone. thanks

edna
I read somewhere in the web that Steve Martin sings "Under the bamboo tree" in The Man with two Brains... a song written by Bob Cole at the beginning of the 20th Century. It doesn´seem to be "Your name", but I will keep on searching. I found the same info than you for "Your Name" (originally sung by Judy Garland and Margaret O´Brian). If it´s the Bob Cole you look for, wikipedia has a bit of info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Cole_(composer) Edited January 31, 2007 by Guest

edna
I still believe it´s two different songs. The lyrics are different. I should see the movie to know... Maybe if you watch the movie and you post some lyrics from the song he sings...
