Dappled
In recent years the best I've heard is Richard Bona in 2005.
TheTallOne
I've been to a total of two concerts, but The Who were amazing.
Shawna
I saw Don McLean once years and years ago in a small amphitheatre setting. It was amazing. But I think - outside of any given Roger concert, of course - that Jackson Browne's Hold Out tour was the best concert ever.
edna
When I was very young I saw a band formed by Mick Taylor (he had left the Stones), Jack Bruce, Carla Bley and I don´t remember but I´d swear Jim Capaldi was on drums (or was ot another band? Do you know if Capaldi played with them for a while? ) It was one of the coolest concerts I remember...
daslied
That was the Jack Bruce Band. The dummer was Bruce Gary, and the keyboardist was Ronnie Leahy.
Sweet Jane 61
Jackson Browne's Hold Out tour was the best concert ever. Shawna, that was the last time I saw Jackson Browne in concert. It was at an outdoor event and we were about 8 rows back. I loved it! I cried when he sang Hold Out.

edna
Edna....blame it on the brownies! Brownies do that?? I only have one brownie per night now, I´m no longer a teenager... I thought it was my old age...
katie_sane
I saw Kiss in 2004, and dispite the fact it was 'Kiss lite' (no Peter Criss or Ace Frehley) it was still fantastic. They did a set with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra too. The Rolling Stones were the other stand outs.
Shawna
do any of you old folks remember who toured with Judas Priest in 1977-'78? I remember going to see that concert with my boyfriend, but I CANNOT remember who opened for them. Was it Cheap Trick? Or AC/DC? One of those bands from that time... it's making me NUTS. gman
Are you talking about 1980?? If so it was the first concert I ever attended at the Hartford Civic Center. The best show ever though had to be Bruce Springsteen Dec. 1980 at the H.C.C. $8.75 and he played from 9:00 to 1:00 a.m. with a 1/2 hour break. Awesome show! cadillacranch
For me it was Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band at 'Koning Boudewijn Stadion Brussels' in 2003. It was on my honeymoon (I married two days before) and it was an excellent performance.
mishoff
My favorite was seeing Billy Joel in Philly when I had 6th row floor seats. I rushed the stage and was standing right in front of his microphone stand with my chin on the stage. It was amazing!!
