MuzikTyme
Right you are Ms. Edna. This great guitarist played lead in David Bowie's Let's Dance. MTV's video shows Bowie playing the lead. For years I thought he did until I read the latest issue of Guitar Player.

MuzikTyme
He´s blond. Who is Paul Williams? He may not have been cast as a Monkee but he sure played a good damned dirty ape!
phil
I think Bazooka is correct.
MuzikTyme
He is, to a degree. Stills was cast as a Monkee but pulled out at the last minute because Columbia pictures wanted exclusive rights to his songs. Stills was having none of it. Williams, on the other hand, was flat-out turned down. But then, so was Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night but I'm not sure of his hair color. My album covers have faded to the point where everyone looks blonde.
edna
I meant Stephen Stills. Paul Williams wasn´t at Woodstock...
