Tracie Spencer would also have been correct, but David Archuleta would not since the clue said "long before 'American Idol'", which had already debuted by the time he won in 2003. I didn't watch much evening TV back then. A lot of good talent has been found because of these shows, though. Shows like that, I can watch, but not the so called reality shows which are mostly acting because they know the cameras are on and all of America is watching. That's not reality.
