Levis
I only use this thread for little things. My psychology-student tendencies are acting up. Here's a situation for you: If you're alone at home and you go for a shower - do you close the door? Do you lock it?
RonJonSurfer
I close the shower door but not the bathroom door.

Farin
I close the door but do not lock it I also cannot sleep if my bedroom closet doors and my bedroom door are not shut. same here... I'd feel very weird if I go to sleep with the door open... and I close the bathroom door not (only) out of modesty, but also because it gets a bit cold if it's open

Levis
Thank ye my funky friends Me, I like door closed, and unlocked. Though there may be instances - eg. a m/hotel room - where I'll lock the main door and then lock the bathroom door as well. I'm paranoid like that. As for the bedroom door... well I can sleep with it open, but I'd rather not. It doesn't really bother me as such because... you know... I'm asleep
The Seeker
Just closed... our bathroom door at home can't be locked. It's different at uni of course. And yes... I can't sleep with doors (and closet doors) open. Complete darkness is much worse than open doors though. Edited January 11, 2008 by Guest
MarcM
Bathroom door closed for warmth, but I leave the curtains open for extra light. My bathroom window is pretty big, but I do not need to worry myself about people seeing in because it is on the second floor and there is about 75 yards between the bathroom window and the next house to the rear. They would need a telescope to see in. I can sleep with my closet doors open, but they are in the bathroom...I like the bedroom door shut when I am sleeping or otherwise in my bedroom. It is my sanctuary.

Lea
Ghosts? Ghosts don't exist. Crazy people do Both exist. I hate the word ghosts tho. That's only in the movies. I do believe tho that the energy from a soul sometimes will stay earthbound after death. And, I don't feel crazy

Shawna
Bedroom door closed, bathroom door not necessarily. My son has a house key and I don't want to ever scar him for life by accidentally seeing me step out of the shower. Also, I sleep with my bedroom door shut simply to keep the cats out.
