edna Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 Drugs should be used for recreational purposes only. ...actually, you know I agree... I'm glad those needles and pins are making you feel better, RonJon...
Heimann47 Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 For all I've heard about acupuncture, I'm still not too fond of foreign objects inside of me.
Steel2Velvet Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Acupuncture offered relief from my older sister's devastating body-wide rheumatoid arthritis, for which she had previously found none other, over many years.
Heimann47 Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 I don't like needles, either. Love getting tattoos, don't like needles. Odd, I know.
RonJonSurfer Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 I had never had acupuncture before. It was painless...of course, it wouldn't be appealing if needles bother you. It was a weird sight for sure.
RockyRaccoon Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Wanna know what sweetens my coffee? THE RETURN OF CONAN!!!
Tenacious_Peaches Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I was feeling sorry for myself in the gear grinding thread but it made me realize how lucky I am, too. I am blessed to have a wonderful family of Peaches who love me and support me and want me to succeed. That combined with Conan coming back may have shaken my funk. That was a quick pissy fit, no?
MarcM Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Pissy fit? Sounds messy. We have hissy fits around these parts. We save wetting ourselves for when we are drunk
Lea Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I have the morning to myself today so I will spend it checking out some more indi music. Anyone know of any bands that might interest me? Keeping in mind of course I prefer the more laid back stuff
Shawna Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 I really really really needed a coffee sweetener today... and I got one. I get to go see Vertical Horizon on Friday, and attend the meet & greet with Matt Scannel, who I interviewed last July... I will be wearing my Songfacts t-shirt so he'll know me.
Levis Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 Unplanned 90s-themed karaoke sessions in a car
_Laurie_ Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I guess it's gonna be Splenda or Equal from now on....
Levis Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 Got video on that, DD? Post it. "Unplanned" I said - no video (phew) - Oasis, The Breeders, Blind Melon, Weezer and The Flaming Lips were involved
miamisammy29 Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 You were able to fit all those people in your car?! I hope they brought their own beer.
Farin Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 they never showed Dr. Who in German television
Levis Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 They didn't show it in India either, but some friends of mine decided to hold weekly screenings of the new season in the attic of a nearby cafe (on my tram line in fact) so I've been doing my research watching old episodes and all, so that I know what's going on in the new ones. And I do!
Shawna Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 I do good birthday. Jeff's birthday was yesterday. I baked him a 5-tier cake (from scratch) which is delicious, gave him 2 first-class tickets to the Verde Fall Colors railroad train (at the Grand Canyon), cleaned his entire house while he was at school, got his sons together to be there and surprised him with it all when he got home from school last night. He was speechless.
Lea Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Very cool Shawna. I'm glad the cake worked out
Tenacious_Peaches Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 ...cleaned his entire house while he was at school... Don't start that crap or he'll come to expect it, woman.
