edna
I´m going to spend the day on the mountain. Before I go, I will vote for the next French President.
Earth-Angel
I just attended my first SL wedding. It actually was really sweet, poseballs and all... and the groom kissed the bride so hard, she crashed! Crikey I'm a geek...
Blue Fish
The Dam Busters was a good movie. Do you like WW2 movies, young lady? Love 'em. Why'd you ask?

Shawna
what is a second life wedding? Is it the same as just getting married for the second time? I have never heard that term before...
Farin
oh wait the already have weddings there? did the two even know each other (in first life?)
The Seeker
I just know that you're not allowed to have sex there... else you might get arrested. I think.
Farin
what is a second life wedding? Is it the same as just getting married for the second time? I have never heard that term before... second life is a kind of online game. A virtual world where you can go around with an alter ego and interact with other people and stuff like that
Shawna
oh, wow... a whole new world I wasn't even aware of. Thanks Farin - that was... weird! It causes me to think about the old "Dungeons and Dragons" thing that people used to get so into...
Earth-Angel
Farin is correct. SL is a fully virtual world, mimicking real life but online. Well, it is better than real life in some ways as you can live out your dreams and fantasies in an anonymous way. You can fly and be thin, you can skydive and be a furry. The possibilities are endless! I think it is rather fun. I can change outfits and skins on a whim, go snorkelling or be a mobster!
edna
I tried to play SL once but it scares me. I did register and started to play but I am not really fond of that kind of things and I don´t have time... I already spend hours in SF...
MarcM
Most female teens I know could not be bothered with WW2 anything. I have been into WW2 history (movies, books, etc) since I was younger than you are now. I am just happy to see someone have one of the same interests I do, especially someone I would not expect to have that interest. Carry on!
katie_sane
I'm not a teen, but I'm very interested in WW1 and WW2. I'm studying to be a librarian or 'information professional' if you will, so I can hopefully work at The Australian War Memorial as a researcher or at the National Archives or as a genealogist. Australian military history is my specialty
Blue Fish
Okay MarcM, I'll Keep at! I'm quite different from the people around me I must say, some say in a good way some say in a bad way, but I say, just in my way!
MarcM
Well, imagine my surprise to find TWO young ladies interested in military history. Where were girls like you when I was looking?! Katie, my oldest sister became a librarian a few years ago. I had no idea that there were so many hoops to jump through to get the title. A doctorate! Blue Fish
What might that be, Bloof? A history teacher? Of sorts. We mainly look at Greek plays and pots and temples and work out their way of life from the pictures on the pots and temples....all along that vein! We study the play writes and why their plays are still proformed and read today, why they are so effective..ect ect..

Blue Fish
But-but-I LIKE looking at the pots and such....or at least the pictures ON the pots and working out what they were used for...I spend hours on end pouring over dusty books with a picture of a greek pot (or something) trying to find out is name and use.....Is there something funny with that image?
