MuzikTyme
You're saying, Muzik, that you think your foot tastes good when lodged firmly in your mouth? Only when the *crow informs me of my hunger . . . * is always best eaten hot. Ground crow . . . hmm; That grinds my gears today. Tastes like chicken . . . MarcM
Oh yeah, the toilet in my bathroom is leaking somewhere from the bottom. Ah, the joys of home ownership.....
MuzikTyme
Bottom is okay, the leaking part worries me, though. Try tightening the lower bolts and then, a nice bead of silicone caulk around the outer perimeter. This should alleviate the problem, even only if temporary. MarcM
tHANKS, mARCUS. i WILL HAVE TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT WHEN i GET HOME. aCCORDING TO MY WIFE, IT JUST HAPPENS WHEN FLUSHING. tHOSE WAX RINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO LAST THE LIFE OF THE TOILET, ARENT THEY?
MuzikTyme
Depends on how well the bathroom floor is. If the floor's bad, then the wax seal can't make good contact/or do its lifetime job. If the bolts are loose, hopefully, then once tightened the wax seal can again do what it's supposed to. Good luck!

MuzikTyme
Hippocrates once said that no one can count their true friends on more than one hand. I'm lucky to count them on one finger. Family excluded.
