MuzikTyme Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 I think if given a chance to be honest then everyone would welcome a vacation to the location of their choice. Bitter, I like the way you formatted your bi/weekly schedule. I wish I was that organized.
Ombre Vivante Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 It's tri-weekly since it includes Tuesday. As far as vacations go, I can go anywhere I want, whenever I want. I just never saw the point of doing those things for myself - they're sort of adult-sized musical chairs whereby people from over there come over here to see and do what I normally do; I go somewhere else to do and see what the people there normally do; and those people go where the initial people left to see and do what the people who left usually do. Then, the bell rings and we all go back. Traveling/vacationing, for me, is akin to going to a library to see the covers of the books without reading them or strictly watching previews/trailers of movies without the benefit of seeing the full-length movie. I derive no satisfaction from vacationing at a location of my choice unless that location is where I am presently at
MuzikTyme Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 You get around... ...of applause , too!
MindCrime Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 I lost a gold ring down the sink at a bar earlier (no stopper), so I had to take apart the pipes to get to it. I wounded up doing more damage to the bar's plumbing system (that I had to pay for) than the ring was actually worth!
Shawna Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 you gotta watch out for those bars. They're all about the gold-ring-stealing pipe suckers. It's how they make their staple revenue, don'tcha know.

RyanTurtle Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Everyone still has time unless they are dead. Bitter, it's almost as if you put a stop-watch on polymath-turtle...lol Oh, almost forgot... RyanTurtle, out of all your attributes, what do you forsee just one of them doing for you in the future? I'm actually majoring in journalism and music history.
Lucky Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Getting up at 3:30am, to drive the kid to the airport, and be at work by 6 to work 12 hours .... maybe it doesn't actually grind my gears, but those hours make me very tired. :sleepy:
edna Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 The day should have at least, 48 hours for me... 8 hours night-time and the rest, sunny and warm.
Ombre Vivante Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 The day should have at least, 48 hours for me... 8 hours night-time and the rest, sunny and warm. If the day was 48 hours long, I could probably enroll in one more class or try my hand at some charity work
RockyRaccoon Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 All of my friends are at the Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Keep Fear Alive and where will I be? Work
Lucky Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 At the risk of sounding like a mom .... you've got a baby coming. You need to be at work.
RockyRaccoon Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Haha oh I know I know. Still. The Roots were there
skybluesky Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Is ?uestlove gonna feed your baby? No? Then The Roots don't matter none.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 At the risk of sounding like a bad mother, I totally would have gone. ?eustlove's 'fro is so big he's probably hiding Pampers and formula up in there. I think he would have shared with you if you had gone.
skybluesky Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 What if the baby comes out with a 'fro? Coolest baby EVER
Tenacious_Peaches Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 I know, right? Like me and Sammy's kid:
TheLizard Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 Oh House majority, we hardly knew ye.
RockyRaccoon Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 You know, as I've watched this election coverage, I've become more and more annoyed by the people who state that the separation of church and state is explicitly stated in the Constitution, when in reality, it is not. The ideas come from John Locke, and the actual term comes from a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote. I mean, I know that it is a law as interpreted by the Supreme Court. It's not that I don't agree with it. It just bothers me that all these people think it's in the Constitution when it isn't. It's like people don't even read it anymore...
Farin Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 I thought the Tea Party was its own, well, party... but now I see it's just a branch of the Republicans?
