Lucky
I like pot pies too. They make an ok lunch at work. I do prefer Marie Callenders though, they taste better and they have just a smidge more class. If a pot pie can have class.

Lucky
That's true, she did say tv dinners, and I will not eat a tv dinner, so that should bump me up a notch. Pot pies yes, tv dinners, no.

Heimann47
Oh, and by the way, I just found out that my insurance is higher than it has to be. I first got my license in april of '07, and it expired in august of '09, but I wasn't going to be home in august of '09, so I renewed it when I was, in june of '09. My current driver's license issue date is july of '09, but I was first licensed in april of '07. My insurance agency is charging me because they think I've only been licensed for a little over a year, when it is more like three years. So now I have to fax them in a copy of my expired license so they have proof that I have been licensed for the past three years, which will lower my insurance rate. Lea
Well, we didn't do well. I was a bit surprised. DH says the season is about over. What clams we did get we're small and hard to come by. The weather was gorgeous I don't really like clams at all and I loath Oysters. I love Sturgeon, Scallops and Prawns tho. Salmon isn't bad either. We've been having that a lot lately
pinkstones
Clams are great, if cooked properly. Clams casino is one of my favorite dishes, along with linguine in clam sauce. The only seafood/shellfish I don't really care for is oysters. I can't even look at them, much less eat them. I tend to eat with my eyes, so if something looks disgusting, I won't touch it. Lea
I don't hate clams their just not one of my favorite kinds of shell fish. DH usually cooks them and has even had ppl come and watch him do it so they can copy him I personally prefer clams in some other kind of dish like chowder or something. Most people around here like them fried. As for oysters, there's no way anyone could cook them and make them edible as far as I'm concerned. Their just gross IMO. Shawna
BOYCOTT HARKINS THEATRES!!! This idiot actually checked on his dog every 45 minutes while he was enjoying a movie in the cool theatre (so he can't claim he "forgot" about her), it's over 100 degrees outside (145 inside a car), and he claims that he's not guilty of ANIMAL CRUELTY? I wish I could lock him inside a car on a 100+ degree day, crack the window 3 inches, and leave him to bake alive. Read here to find out what multi-million-dollar moron really thinks is okay
RockyRaccoon
He forgot about his dog in his car. The dog is ok. He realized he made a mistake, is sorry for it and is even showing PSA's to prevent something like that from happening again. I mean, it's not like he was trying to kill his dog. It was a mistake. Shawna
I love you Rocky, but you are WAY WRONG on this one. A dog's temperature normally runs at 102 as it is, and to be stuck in a car when it's over 100 degrees outside, it gets to be about 145 in ten minues, whether the windows are cracked or not - no difference. It's against the law out here in summer to leave an animal in the car, because it usually kills them in about 1/2 hour, and it's an ugly painful miserable death. But what's killing me is this guy swears he knows not to do it, he did it, and now he says he is somehow above the law and didn't break it, and that he will fight it, and is trying to make it all better by posting publicity spots in the theatres??? That's like driving drunk, killing someone, then saying, I didn't commit the crime, but I'll put up a sign to tell people not to do it anyway.
