MuzikTyme
My thought is if a person understands what another person is saying or righting...err...writing... then it truly doesn't matter if the "I's" aren't dotted or the "T's" not crossed. The message far exceeds the etiquette of relaying it.
miamisammy29
In the case of Connecticut most people are right because the "C" is silent though not the case regarding the world's largest continent. There is no C in Asia.

MuzikTyme
What in the video-world does Asia (other than being a fellow continent) have to do with Antarctica? They both start with an "A" and ends in an "A?" Let's add Australia and Africa too! I'd add America if North and South wasn't in front of it. Sammy, I'm forwarding you a month's supply of my milk-money.
miamisammy29
Asia is the largest continent, by far. Antarctica is Number 5. And I'll keep an eye out for that money order. Thanks.
MuzikTyme
Asia is the largest continent On what planet?

MuzikTyme
I'm not kidding and I don't use wiki to know that Antarctica is planet Earth's largest continent, dude. Asia is ranked number one but have you ever looked at a globe? The next time you do, turn the globe upside down to see the largest land mass (continent)

MuzikTyme
Am I missing something? ...or has Asia gone the way of the ex-planet Pluto? My National Geographic atlas circa '94 clearly shows via sattelites the largest land masses surrounding the blue ball that you're currently sitting on. Antarctica shows up as being the largest land mass frozen or otherwise. If National Geographic is wrong then so am I.
TheLizard
Let me guess, you're looking at a map and Antarctica covers the whole bottom, looking largest. With 2-D maps, the higher the latitude, the more stretched out land masses look. This is just a consequence of rolling a sphere onto a flat surface. miamisammy29
Is that circa 1494? Sammy, you never fail to make me laugh.
MuzikTyme
Spare me the physics. My statement, and National Geographic, knows otherwise. But hey, people once swore that the Earth was at the center of the universe. People were killed if they thought otherwise. My globe analogy is the simplest way to prove what's the largest land mass (continent)

MuzikTyme
As far as I know, Asia and Antarctica aren't submerged. Depth hasn't a place in the equation, but I'm sure you already knew that.
