TheLizard
First day of chemistry, I already have no effing clue what's going on. I guess I'm going to have to actually read the book.
Tenacious_Peaches
Shut up. I had my second class of chemistry last night and I had even less of an effing clue as to what was going on. I can't believe we are taking chemistry together. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the three wise men, the sheep, the shepherds, the gold, the frankincense and the everloving myrhh. miamisammy29
I love chemistry. It was always my favorite subject in school. It was easy. Although, I did choose to switch majors after "the mishap". I still can't grow hair on my left nut.
c_s_1987
I did 6 chemistry units at Uni. I might be able to help you. Not you, Sammy, the two who are still studying. Edited August 28, 2008 by Guest

Levis
I have no problem with Chemistry... Chemistry has a problem with me. Them science subjects are not as friendly as the arts.
c_s_1987
Them science subjects are not as friendly as the arts. Of course, I couldn't disagree more.
Levis
Well, no... in science everything is very black and white. Which is what I like really (I'm a behaviourist don'tcha know? It don't get more black/white than that). You got your theories, equations, formulae and you know how to prove them and where to use them. It's all fact, and little speculation. Humanities was good for my brain in a different way to maths and logic.. it helped me think outside the box - be more creative, you know?
Farin
I'm not really creative... I always liked all sciences more than arts and languages
c_s_1987
I like to think I am creative, until I put a lot of effort into a humanities assessment and end up getting 60% or less for it. :beady: Oh well. I did well at high school Music classes, unsurprisingly.
The Seeker
I'm not really creative... I always liked all sciences more than arts and languages Strangely enough I'm not all that creative either but I'm quite good at arts and languages
Levis
What we unappreciated humanities students would try to explain to them supercillious sciencees was this - it's easier to fail in science and it's easy to pass in humanities. But it's much, much harder to get a decent grade in the arts, while in science, if you understand the basics, you're in the clear. I owe my ability to write the same sentence in five different ways to answering questions in political science I'd goof up in maths because there's usually only one way to solve a problem

Farin
Strangely enough I'm not all that creative either but I'm quite good at arts and languages well, I wasn't bad at languages, philosphy or music... what I'm not good at is "free writing" though, in any language
Levis
Oh I'll just clarify that you guys are not the supercillious scienciees. In school we had 7 sections for science students, 2 for commerce and half for arts... so you get the picture
Uncle Joe
But it's those math majors who are making the big bucks. Not that that is a measure of success.
