steel magnolia
I thought Paula was about to jump the guy that quit last season after he got to Hollywood. He didn't really sound that great to me. She might have been "coaching" him last year when he left.
Levis
There was a bipolar patient there if I ever saw one. What fantastic manic-depressive symptoms. Marvellous!
Sweet Jane 61
I watched a clip from last night, Paula is definately on something, she is trippin' big time. I was hoping though she would have slapped Simon or spanked him, she did call him a bad boy or something!!
Shawna
Radhi - are you talking about the girl who was "tone deaf"? She was a veritable study in climate. Can anyone say "stalker"?
TheLizard
She scared the crap out of me.
_Laurie_
I wish someone would of slapped that Bernardo guy......annoying, I don't think he was funny at all!
Shawna
I'm not good with the names... which one was Bernardo?
_Laurie_
He had Ian Bernardo on his shirt, was wearing a chincilla around his neck, and had a sissy fit with Simon....remember?
Shawna
oh... that guy. He tried out for "So You Think You Can Dance" too. I think he's just trying to get his face on TV as much as possible. No other explanation for that thing.
Levis
Shawna, I'm referring to the black girl who sang one happy happy Dancing in the Street song, but when she went on to Dreaming of You, she messed up and was rejected. She was overly euphoric at first. I originally diagnosed her with mania alone.
Shawna
ahhh... I know the one you're talking about. She was pathetic, but she didn't scare me. The other one scared me.
Levis
That one had me wishing I was the producer. What a fantastic audience puller. I'd be in seventh heaven. "more film! more film!"
_Laurie_
I have not seen anyone that I really liked so far...they have all been terrible!...and the ones they put through are just okay...I hope it gets better.
_Laurie_
Why don't they just put a sign on that stupid door saying "Use Other Door".... They are so cruel!
Tenacious_Peaches
I've been saying that for weeks now, Laurie.
TheLizard
I liked the guy who butchered Amazing Grace, and then trash talked "just for the camera". I'm pretty sure he knew he couldn't sing, but his cousin needed the moral support.
Tenacious_Peaches
That was hilarious. A man's got to save face, yo. I really loved the last guy, but I'm sick of the auditions at this point. I'm ready for Hollywood, baby!
_Laurie_
^ I'm with you on that one Peaches,,,,they got some real weirdos this year, enough with the nonsense dawgs!....
Otokichi
Zzzz...another Karaoke contest? Bah! Humbug! Huge waste of time with lame results. (I sing like a sick frog.)
Shawna
I stopped watching when there was about 15 minutes left last night. There are too many of these auditions shows, and they all have lousy people. I can't believe that Randy actually argues back with people when they say things to him. He'd be smart just to shut up. But then, that'd be saying there's a possibility of him being smart...
CRAW
I liked the guy (the first week) that said he's slept behind a dumpster before, and works as a gas station attendant. He had a great voice, but it seems all too well scripted for me - like the perfect story: Gas station employee, and bum one day, and America's next Idol the next? C'mon. Nevertheless, the dude had a good voice.
Tenacious_Peaches
I am so glad the auditions are over. I'm ready for the final people to be picked so we can get on with the show. The one person I already love is the gnarly looking dude with the curly hair and glasses. I think his name is Chris.
Shawna
I like that guy, too, Peaches He's funny! My early favorite already got booted. Baylie something or other. Just proves I have no skill at picking winners.
Elvish
Baylie Brown was her name, Shawna. I think her biggest mistake was being a bad judge of character. I was kinda glad to see the one girl in her group not make it through...
