Sweet Jane 61
I caught a song of theirs on the site 3wk.com and I loved it! The lead singer has a sound similar to Janis. I looked them up on allmusic and I know they are from Scotland and were only together a few years. As anyone on SF heard of them? Enlighten me, please. bazooka
I think you'll probably enjoy this clip. And here's more info on Stone The Crows and singer Maggie Bell.
johnnyguitar
Their guitarist died rather tragically...electrocuted on stage. He was the younger brother of Alex Harvey (70's Rocker). That's off the top of my head. I'll think of some more stuff I'm sure.
edna
I remember the death of Les Harvey... I had one of their albums too and I loved Maggie Bell´s voice.

bazooka
Now I just need to get their music somehow! I wasn't really familiar with the group, but I set up a 'Stone The Crows' station at pandora.com and was able to hear a lot from their Ontinuous Performance album.
