Shawna, that's just the chorus. Pretty pretentious to liken himself to Jesus Christ. The rest of the song is just about the angst (some real, some imagined) he was receiving because of his relationship with Yoko. At least he cared about someone else beside himself, which was unusual for him. I think Yoko and Sean are the only people he ever really loved. He certainly neglected Cynthia and Julian. His prime concern when Brian Epstein died seemed to be that the Beatles would be finished. I always felt sorry for him because he was such a miserable B. Maybe he did some good things we don't know about. I hope so.

Apologies to Chris. I would certainly would have included Eagle Rock if I thought it had a chance of making the Ten, but it's not known outside Oz and I'd be wasting my vote.

:P

Please don't send any PTs, because I'm logging out now. Friends are welcome to Email me anytime. Keep up the good work Farin and CeeCee.

thanks Jenny, and everyone else :)

wow, we're sure fast this time! only three more people to vote... and shadows sent me her provisional Ten already, because she didn't know if she makes it back in time to vote, so we only have two left ;)

and I can tell you this time it's very close, the Top 4 songs are all within 10 points of each other, with other words: Everything is open, nothing is set in stone ;)

I listened to them, Chris. I love Innuendo (hence its appearance on my list), and I enjoyed Eagle Rock. I dug the whole playlist, as a matter of fact. I had never heard Khe Sanh before and listened to it at least 4 times in a row.
