The rest of the song is just about the angst (some real, some imagined) he was receiving because of his relationship with Yoko. At least he cared about someone else beside himself, which was unusual for him. I think Yoko and Sean are the only people he ever really loved. He certainly neglected Cynthia and Julian. His prime concern when Brian Epstein died seemed to be that the Beatles would be finished. I always felt sorry for him because he was such a miserable B.
