Mike
I do like the Dylan song, but incase you haven't seen us in the national news, we got a major blowout last night, even after the Seahawk game . I have power at home, and at work here, but I am in a minority. I had to traverse downed trees and branches all through the neighborhoods to get to the freeway. I've lived here for (Seattle "area") for 95% of my life, I've NEVER seen anything like this before, like a timber war zone out there in the suburbs! Elvish
I saw something on the weather channel when it was blowing in - they were predicting 100 mph wind gusts! That's tornado weather here in the Midwest! Glad you weathered the storm okay, Mike
Jenny
Yes, Mike, I was thinking about you and Batman when I heard it on the news.....hope it all gets better before the holidays. Makes me feel guilty for the mild, calm weather we've been enjoying over here....
TheLizard
I saw that on the news. I hope all my friends back home are okay. I thought last year was bad, with all the mudslides in my area (I lived in the Nisqually valley area, if that means anything to anyone), but this is even nastier. Washington is going to float into the sea if this trend keeps up. But now I'm in Texas, where it's 10 days from Christmas and 80 degrees. I still think I'd put up with the weather to go back home. MarcM
Glad you got through the storm, Mike. Supposedly, that storm is supposed to hit us here in So Cal this weekend. I hope it has mellowed a little bit by then.
