True, but isn't Free Fallin' about a girl?

It is, I don't understand why that's up there as well :s

My Dad and I are having a conversation and we both decided Going to California - Zeppelin should be there. Even though it's technically about San Fran - we came to a conclusion that in music when "california" is mentioned it's an LA reference by default.

Hey, compton isn't the cliche` LA either ;)

Having lived in East Los Angeles... I would not have identified with any of the Top Five for a list of local tunes. Sounds more like a soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto or something that bizarre. I'm feeling more in the way of "I hate this smog & traffic rush hour" would be in good tune for L.A.

On a side note, my pick goes to Beach Boys' "California Girls" (more or less)
