Farin
Any news on when you start "totting up"? I might want to change these nominations yet. Voting starts tomorrow, in about 24 hours and please tell me if/when you want to change a nomination or at least put an extra post in the thread... I didn't see that you changed your post, if not for malakin...
The Seeker
I was unaware the Who even did a cover of this. I can't picture it... It was released on A Quick One (retitled Happy Jack in the US) in 1966. It's an ...interesting cover, especially because Keith Moon 'sings'. Still, it's sure to get my vote. daslied
Thanks for posting the Nick Cave song. I think you'd mentioned it before, but I hadn't heard it. I might vote for it based on the "like a leper coming down with some kind of nervious hysteria" line alone.
Shawna
So far we have only 42 songs... give or take a couple. With Farin threatening to start voting within 24 hours from a few hours ago we need more nominations! Keep 'em coming, folks! Just drop them at the door, no fuss, mo muss, we'll handle everything else.

Shadows
Yeah, I've tried to listen to The Beach Boys version on Youtube, but my computer is being super slow today and I couldn't stand waiting for it to load. Maybe I'll try again now.

Don't my opinions mean anything to you? I would've checked it out/bought it by now, but I was busy documenting your every typed word for my impending book. How does the title "The Greatest Man I Never Knew: Musings Of Blind-Fitter" grab you?
Shadows
I just had a look at The Beach Boys version of Barbara Ann, but I'll keep my nomination as The Who's version because I like Keith Moon singing. Here is a link to The Who performing Barbara Ann on "The Kid's Are Alright," after only a few minutes rehearsal. And here is my other nomination, School Day by Chuck Berry. He's mimeing though. c_s_1987
I don't expect MindCrime will change his nominations, but I'm pretty sure that is the first time a song has been nominated in two consecutive weeks (Owner Of A Lonely Heart). MindCrime
It was a top 10 choice too I see, I am sorry I missed was absent, it would've been #1 on my roll call I thought I had checked the previous "Ten Lists" - I switched to Enjoy the Silence, only to find out it's nominated already on this week's list & it's sure to get my #1. Last time I accidentally pulled the same thing on Martin. Hopefully, I got two that are secluded & go without any further notice.
