Recommended Posts

WELCOME TO THE SONGFACTORS' CHOICE TOP TEN # 43

:)

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO, YOU ASK ?

IT'S EASY!

- Simply nominate two songs that weren't in a previous Top Ten

(Click here to find out --> Every Song In Every Top Ten )

- When nominations close, choose your Ten favourite songs out of all Nominations.

We'll give 10 points for #1, 9 for #2 etc. and compile the Top Ten from them.

and REMEMBER: there are NO RESTRICTIONS! You can nominate all the artists that you want :)

:)

NOMINATE AWAY NOW!!

here are my two:

The New Pollution ~ Beck Video

fun fact: this song is heavily influenced by the Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows"

just listen to the various tape loops throughout the song, the significant drum track, or the instrumental solo :)

Music Sounds Better With You ~ Stardust Video

now that's what I call a One-Hit Wonder! Not only had they only one hit, it was also the only song they recorded :)

fun fact: the smaple in this song id from Chaka Khan's "Fate"

:)

As I may not be participating in the Christmas Top Ten, my nominations for this one are two songs with a Christmas Flavor.

Happy Christmas (War Is Over) - John Lennon

Last Christmas - Wham!

.................................................

Last Top Ten had the fewest nominations since Top Ten #1. :P

Please give Farin and Shawna your support. :)

1. Rambling Man - The Allman Brothers Band

2. You Wear It Well - Rod Stewart

Link

This song was credited to Rod Stewart as a solo artist even though he was obviously backed up in this video by members of The Faces (Ron Wood, Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan).
