The Seeker
I like this list! No Satisfaction in the Top ten (I like it, but I'm sick of it. No 17 is alright.) , two Who songs at numbers 5 and 6.

Floydaholic
I find this list more pleasing than other lists, such as one's that have put Jack White and Kurt Cobain in the top 10 of the greatest guitarists of all time!!. I think Rolling Stone did that. Oh the shame....
Foolonthehill
I like it! Surprised but happy to see a couple of Yes songs there, and unsurprised but somewhat satisfied to see Stairway at the top (would have preferred A Day In The Life- but that would have been too much to hope for). Would have expected and wanted A Whiter Shade Of Pale in there- or is that not classic rock? (if it isn't, then what makes Yes classic rock?). All in all, not a bad list. Sweet Jane 61
Very close to the top 92 list our station did 3 years ago. Zeppelin was our number one also. This summer we are doing the top 92 albums, can't wait!
skybluesky
95: Janis Joplin- Piece Of My Heart The lone female artist on the list. Why must these lists always be so male dominiated? Where is Heart? Where is Jefferson Airplane? Blondie?
Rayzor
What about Fleetwood Mac? Surprised there was no room for them
skybluesky
No Pretenders or Pat Benatar. This list is incomplete and chauvanistic.

skybluesky
But most of the songs are about women... We can bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan, so we should be represented on that count down, not just by song subject, fascinating creatures though we are
edna
No Patti Smith...?
Skuff
I disagree with #4 on that list. "Hey Jude" is one of the few Paul songs I don't like. That ending part is just stupid and long just stupid and long. Switch it out with #66 and we're good to go!
Rayzor
Hey Jude is my favorite Beatles tune! I love the long ending! Everyone knows the words!
