MarcM
Some of you may find this as interesting as I do: http://www.globalincidentmap.com
c_s_1987
Very interesting. When I checked, about half of the recent bomb threats had occurred in the US. It is great that you can find out about each incident by pointing your mouse pointer over each icon.

MarcM
Yes, I would say scary, too. But from a professional point of view, interesting.
DiggsUK
Could the site be run in the US where a higher proportion of incidents are picked up, perchance?
blind-fitter
You're concerned that Wakefield's "global incidents" may have gone unreported?
DiggsUK
We had the Angry Brigade bomb the Prison Training College on Aberford Road a few years back... woke me up it did! Not much 'globally' happens in Wakefield though... What about Leeds?
MarcM
I am pretty sure it is a US run operation. I think that does not have any bearing on their being so many incidents on US soil. We just have a bumper crop of miscreants who like to make false bomb reports or worse. Also, we are very open about what happens in public about these sorts of things. Some other countries are less forthcoming.
DiggsUK
I'd imagine bomb threats to be pretty newsworthy too right now...

DiggsUK
Is it a political thing too? Do the Republicans get mileage out of terror and their 'strong' stance on Islam?
