I was thinking more along the lines of: "Top Gun Theme" by Joe Satriani "Pink Panther Theme" by Henry Mancini "Theme From Taxi Driver" by Bernard Herrmann Or else a song that was exclusively made for the movie. I think the movie Grace Of My Heart had songs which were made for the movie. "FM" would fit that category. I dunno about the rest...
RonJonSurfer 15
I agree, but when lists are at the mercy of "average" radio listeners....you take what you get.
Batman 2
My favorite is "Don't Stop Me" by Queen in Shaun of the Dead.
Ombre Vivante 0
"Make Me Lose Control" by Eric Carmen from Dirty Dancing "Crazy For You" by Madonna from Vision Quest "As The World Falls Down" by David Bowie from Labyrinth "The Crying Game" by Boy George from The Crying Game (although I think it's the actor who performs the song in the movie) "Electric Dreams" by Philip Oakey and Giorgio Moroder from Electric Dreams. However, I prefer "Love Is Love" by Culture Club, but I don't know if that song came before the movie. "The Neverending Story" by Limahl from The Neverending Story (yeah, I know it got played to death, but I still kinda like it) "Big Bottom" by Spinal Tap from This Is Spinal Tap "Me And My Rhythm Box" by from Liquid Sky "Rock 'N Roll High School" and "Pet Cemetary" by The Ramones from the movies of the same name
Wyld Card 5
I'm surprised that "Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf from the classic film "Easy Rider" wasn't placed on this list.
Blue Fish 0
6. Eye Of The Tiger :: (Rocky III) :: Survivor I love it!!
The Seeker 0
Ever since I heard the Weird Al Yankovic cover of Eye of The Tiger I have to sing along with his lyrics. It's the rye or the kaiser, it's the thrill of one bite if you want you can have an appetizer
edna 6
I'm surprised that "Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf from the classic film "Easy Rider" wasn't placed on this list. "Everyobody´s talking", Nilsson - from "Midnight Cowboy "Raindrops keep falling on my head" , B.J. Thomas - from that movie, what´s its name? Butch Cassidy and Sndance Kid? "You´re the one that I want" Olivia and John - from "Grease"
