Ombre Vivante
I think when you have to rent a separate room to store some of your favourite albums AND a storage unit to store the rest, then you might wanna consider selling some of those at the flea market. Otherwise, 500 albums is a drop in the bucket. I've known peeps with bigger music libraries than five format radio stations. I have about 2K albums, singles, and compilations, and I think I need about 8K moar before I start to think I might not have enough time to listen to some of them. edna
I had more than 5000 albums when I decided to sell half of them. Good albums from promo most of all. They gave me lots of money and I bought more records.
akshay
Well i think fewer albums is better. The beatles, nirvana had very few. Especially nirvana and I don't like metallica cause there are just too many albums. Edited December 20, 2006 by Guest
Farin
I'm sorry but the Beatles had few albums?? I don't remember the exact number but I think they made at least a dozen (not counting Compilations and EP's) PS welcome to SongFacts
edna
The Beatles didn´t release many albums, it´s true... but they only lasted eight years. I believe they have some 12 or 13 albums... Welcome, akshay...

edna
Oh, then you´re right, Farin... mainly if we consider they made over a dozen of WONDERFUL ALBUMS...

Danielj
Of course it is! If you come across a bad one, throw it out, but there is no limit to the number of great albums you can own.
