RonJonSurfer
Billy Idol Records Album of Christmas Standards He croons songs including "Frosty the Snowman" on the festive CD 'Happy Holidays.' Billy Idol has stunned his diehard fans by ditching his punk image to record an album of classic Christmas songs. The rocker croons a selection of songs including "Frosty the Snowman," "Winter Wonderland" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on the festive CD 'Happy Holidays.' And the British rocker insists he had no trouble hitting the right notes, because the songs just flowed out of him. He says, "These songs were a challenge to sing as so many other singers have interpreted them in their own style. "It was fun to come up against all that and find that these songs sing themselves." MindCrime
It might be a good album, if he's alone & solo on this one. If Billy invites Cyndi Lauper or anyone to "duet" with him, then I'll pass.

Sweet Jane 61
The thought of this album just scares me...that Billy Idol has a Christmas album out and that someone will buy it!
The Seeker
What is with all those Christmas albums?? If I made one, nobody would buy it, but they get money from it even though it's always the same old songs sounding slightly different.
Tenacious_Peaches
If I made one, nobody would buy it. That is an untruth. I would be delighted to buy a Christmas album with your vocal stylings.
The Seeker
Thank you. I don't think it would be what you call a listening pleasure, though.
TheLizard
Just market it as British Indie Pop and your lack of singing ability will be instantly excused.

I assume that 'die-hard' is a phonetic translation of 'Dye Hard'....the ancient art of changing your hair-style to suit your audience.
