Tenacious_Peaches
I think I'm officially out of songs to nominate. It's getting harder and harder to come up with something new every time. Here are 2 relatively new songs (for this crowd, anyway ): Rob Thomas - Lonely No More Now it seems to me That you know just what to say But words are only words Can you show me something else Can you swear to me that you'll always be this way Show me how you feel More than ever, baby Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You Some people search for a fountain That promises forever young Some people need three dozen roses That's the only way to prove you love them Hand me the world on a silver platter And what good would it be With no one to share With no one who truly cares for me

OLD 55
(Smoke On The Water was number 3 in Top Ten #34) It just shows you should always check 'Every song that's made the Top Ten' before nominating. My lights were on, but mentally I wasn't home. Sorry I tried to 'steal' your original nomination RonJon.
CanAm
1. Nick Of Time - Bonnie Raitt. As a wise person already said about two other songs, this is lyrically and musically beautiful. 2. Candle In The Wind - Elton John. The original version about Marilyn Monroe, not the one for Princess Diana.
OLD 55
Heavy artillery, Old55!! I figured I might as well nominate a couple of Groups that have been #1 in our Ten, and keep some of my others until we have our next "NO #1s" Top Ten, Dappled. Also I very much like both of those songs. You know I'm not too fussed on some other offerings by both of those Groups. Not just them - with me it's the song, not the singer. I'll most likely put one of Judo's above both of mine anyway when I vote.

Shadows
Ok, so here are my two nominations. Both are (arguably) New Zealand bands. Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House listen here New Zealand and Australia disagree about whether Crowded House are New Zealanders or Australian, which in my opinion is just silly, I mean, does it really matter? blind-fitter
Notice you Aussies have been very quiet about being trounced by Great Britain in the Rugby League Tri-Nations Cup. On Aussie soil too.

OLD 55
Your team CeeCee I'm pleased for you. I was telling a friend about my dog the other day, and how he is a fan of our local Football Team. Whenever our team scores he spins in a circle ! My friend said, "what does he do if the opposition scores ?" I said "he jumps in the air". Friend said "how high ?" I said "depends how hard I kick him". (Animal lovers, tis but a joke). Goodnight All.
