RonJonSurfer
BLOEMFONTEIN, South Africa, June 24 (Reuters) - United States ended Spain’s record winning streak with a shock 2-0 victory on Wednesday to advance to the final of the Confederations Cup. Striker Jozy Altidore muscled past the Spanish defence to score the opening goal in the 27th minute and Clint Dempsey pounced on a mistake by Sergio Ramos to grab the second with 16 minutes left. It was the first defeat in 35 internationals for the European champions, a run stretching back to November 2006. It also ended Spain’s world record of 15 successive wins. The U.S. now meet the winners of Thursday’s game between hosts South Africa and Brazil in the final on Sunday.

MindCrime
I can't believe the Suns traded Shaq to the Cavs for next to nothing. Now that the Magic got Vince Carter, they can win the finals this year.
RonJonSurfer
You should be a Nets fan like me. The season is usually much shorter. Now we don't even have Vince Carter...yikes.
MindCrime
Now we don't even have Vince Carter...yikes. The Nets got a handful of good players from the Magic though, and Brook Lopez should be a star on the rising. They're also a contender for Lebron James when he becomes a free-agent in 2010, I wouldn't rule them out just yet.

Farin
the US was leading 2:0 by the end of the first half, but Brazil got much stronger in the second (and had more luck), the 2:1 came not even a minute after the start and finally the 2:3 in the 87'...
