I completely lost track of that whole story... I'm not interested in him or American football (soccer ) and this is the first time I've heard about him since he changed teams and went to LA... doesn't surprise me though. Other than a hot wife and a stupid haircut? seriously, I have absolutly no idea granted he's not a bad player, but there are dozens who are better, imho - even in England it's probably the wife and haircut that made him interesting to glamour magazines (as opposed to sport magazines) which caused his publicity...
