Three Dog Night was probably the most popular group of the early 70's putting out 12 consecutive Top 40 hits including 3 that went to number one. Joy To The World was the number one hit of the year in 1970 as well. Over the span of 6 years (1969 - 1975) they sold over 50 million albums. Most definitely, they had over 10 songs in the top 10, my favorite one was Eli's Coming. But if they haven't been inducted already, then they should be at any time now. Actually, I still have the latter in a box down in the basement.
