Understood, John. ;) I would hope (and I am sure this is what is done in most cases) that we just vote the way we feel at that moment and let the whole thing work itself out. Like any governing system, it's the 'politics' of a thing that can creep in and distort its intrinsic worth.

I'll lighten up now.

Did you hear the one about .... ?

1.Yeh Yeh -- Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames. Mine may be the only vote for this song. It's certainly understandable because others may not know it, but bazooka has dug it for decades :beatnik: You'll have to find it more exciting than the audience or host Brian Epstein did in this Hullabaloo clip.

2. Locomotive Breath -- Jethro Tull

3. Down By The River -- Neil Young with Crazy Horse

4. Higher Ground -- Stevie Wonder

5. Take Me To The Pilot -- Elton John

6. Do You Love Me ? -- The Contours

7. Is She Really Going Out With Him ? -- Joe Jackson

8. Cry To Me -- Freddie Scott

9. Higher Love -- Steve Winwood

10. Paper Sun -- Traffic (can't get too much Winwood, or Traffic)

Lizard, this weekend, why don't you twiddle with the dial of your radio and find a nice AM station that plays real Oldies POP songs. ;)

Special !!! 3 for the price of one.

As most Oldies Pop songs were around 3 minutes, you'd hear 3 instead of a ten minute Epic that some 'FM Robot' plays.

I've dug Georgie Fame for 40 years, Bazooka. I bought the Yeh Yeh LP in 1966 and it has gems like Sitting in the Park and Last Night. Groovy record!
