TheLizard
I'm listening to Part 1 right now. The sad thing is, I know all that stuff he said about the New York Dolls .
Jenny
I'm getting some schooling....listening to Part 2 right now. Always heard of Nick Cave...never actually listened to him. Is it all like this? How depressing. I love how Alan Cross introduced this segment as "Know someone who is only wearing black until something darker comes along?" Shadows
I'm not typical person like that lol...I hate wearing black, I would prefer to wear insanely bright colours. And I'm not stupid enough to think I know everything about music, cause I obviously don't. So I wouldn't say I'm a rock snob

TheLizard
I'm a bit of a rock snob, apparently. This is all modern rock snobbery though. I wonder what the criteria is for classic rock snobbery.
Batman
I'd consider a classic rock snob anyone who discounts post 1990's rock.

katie_sane
Aren't we all rock snobs here? Customer: I don't have that record... I'll buy it for forty. Rob: Sold. Customer: Now why would you sell it to me and not to him? Barry: Because you're not a geek, Louis. Customer: You guys are snobs. Dick: No, we're not. Customer: Yeah, seriously, you're totally elitist. You feel like the unappreciated scholars, so you s**t on people who know less than you. Barry, Rob, Dick: No! Customer: Which is everybody... Barry, Rob, Dick: Yeah... ~ High Fidelity

TheLizard
I'd consider a classic rock snob anyone who discounts post 1990's rock. Well then I guess I'm not a classic rock snob. Most of my friends consider me a music snob, but then again most of my friends aren't as knowledgeable or accomplished as me in terms of music.
