WELCOME TO THE SONGFACTORS' CHOICE TOP TEN # 34

It seems, that due to technical problems with the board, we weren't able to start the new thread yet...

Oh well, better late than never :)

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO, YOU ASK ?

IT'S EASY!

- Simply nominate two songs that weren't in a previous Top Ten

(Click here to find out --> Every Song In Every Top Ten )

AND

aren't currently in the Songfacts Daily or Weekly Top Tens.

(They are the Main Charts - this is supplementary to them).

- When nominations close, choose your Ten favourite songs out of all Nominations.

We'll give 10 points for #1, 9 for #2 etc. and compile the Top Ten from them.

NOMINATE AWAY NOW!!

OK, looks like I´ll be the first... ;)

Eloise - Barry Ryan

He hit me (and it felt like a kiss) - The Motels (*)

*- I like this version better than The Crystals one (well, I guess so... I dunno, really), though it´s so Spectorish... and I know, the lyrics are quite tragic...

Come A Little Bit Closer - Jay and the Americans

80's Ladies - KT Oslin (video starts out slow, but stick with it. Great song!)

We burned our bras and

We burned our dinners and

We burned our candles at both ends and

We had some children who look just like

The way we did back then

We were the girls of the 50's

Stoned rock and rollers in the 60's

Honey, more than our names got changed

As the 70's slipped on by

Now we're 80's ladies

There ain't been much these ladies ain't tried.
