For the first time ever, I've been editing down from a starting-list of about 18 songs, and had to leave out quite alot of great stuff to reach my final 10.("Changes", "Without you", "Relax", "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Not If You Were The Last Junkie","The Needle And The Damage Done", "Me And Mrs Jones", etc.)

For me, the temporary omission of the "big guns" has certainly led to a more varied and interesting choice of nominations.

It's funny how people are apologising to the artists they've omitted from their 10, like Pete Townshend, Sting (or whoever) are sitting at home fretting about whether one of his tracks will finally top the SF chart.

Well said b-f.

I know they're not leading yet, but I hope The Bloody Who do get to #1 so we can exclude them from further "no nominating #1s Top Tens", which I'd like to see become a regular feature.

Mumble, grumble *%&$#* Led Bloody Zeppelin, Pink Bloody Floyd, Bloody Beatles, Rolling Bloody Stones, Jimi Bloody Hendrix, Bloody Doors, etc. Humbug. }:(

Well, yes, actually I just got a call from Sting and he´s not very happy... :shades:
