TheLizard
When I was very little I watched shows like Sesame Street and Eureka's Castle. When I got a little older I watched a lot of early Nickelodeon shows like Rugrats and Rocko's Modern Life. I also watched Ren and Stimpy, even though I wasn't supposed to. Shhhhh don't tell anyone. Uncle Joe
Thanks Zooks. Pinky Lee was on my original list before I edited it. Oversight. Thanks for Ramar Of The Jungle. Don't know how I forgot that one. It was one of my very favorites. Loved Superman, Topper, Wells Fargo and Bat Masterson, too. Hated Clutch Cargo. RonJonSurfer
The Soupy Sales Show, The Monkees and Get Smart, all of which contribute to my highly developed low brow humor. (OK, Get Smart was a step higher, pure Buck Henry and Mel Brooks). Episode One Mr. Big is blackmailing CONTROL. Unless they pay him $100,000,000, he will use the "Inthermo Ray" to destroy the Statue of Liberty. Max teams up with Fang and a new partner, Agent 99, to stop Mr. Big. Crew Writer: Mel Brooks, Buck Henry Director: Howard Morris Star: Barbara Feldon (Agent 99), Jane Dulo (99's Mother (1968-1969)), Robert Karvelas (Larrabee (1967-1970)), Dick Gautier (Hymie (1966-1969)), David Ketchum (Agent 13), Stacy Keach, Sr. (Prof. Carlson (1966-67)), Don Adams (Maxwell Smart (Agent 86)), Edward Platt (The Chief ,aka Thaddeus, aka Harold Clark), Victor French (Agent 44 (1965-1970)), Fang (Agent K-13), Red (Fang (Agent K-13) (1965-1966)) Recurring Role: King Moody (Starker (1966-1969)) Guest Star: Michael Dunn (Mr. Big), Karen Norris (Mother), Vito Scotti (Professor Dante), Kelton Garwood (Garth), Janine Gray (Zelinka) Along with introducing all the main cast, this episode also marks the first appearances of the shoe phone and the cone of silence. (edit) This is the only episode of the entire series run of Get Smart filmed in black and white. (edit)
Shawna
Get Smart - how could I haven't forgotten that one? That loved that show, too! It had my favorite opening sequence of any show - where he walks down the corridor and all the doors open in different ways. Don Adams was an comedic entity unto himself. RonJonSurfer
The Simpsons paid tribute to the Get Smart opening scene, in one of their own opening scenes. Homer, of course, does the Don Adams walk into the phone booth.

edna
Oh, sure... You´re right, UncleJoe, I should have remembered, it had the same name in Spanish... cause of course, I saw all that TV in spanish (Portorican accent for the South Americans) Oh, how could I forget about "I love Lucy"? Ombre Vivante
Anyone remember the animated version of The Lone Ranger? I used to watch that as a kid in Spanish. It had that weird Bonanza intro-style animation and it was somewhat violent. Pretty stylish and cool for its time. I also remember watching the animated Flash Gordon. The cheap production values resulted in a faded, roan/sepia tone of the entire show, which pretty cool too.
Uncle Joe
Hmmm, I think those versions may have been XXX rated.

Blue Fish
The one where one of the Cubs, Wanderer I think it was called, wandered out to the city and met up with a crow really scared me...and where the Toad got picked up by a digger driver scared me too...in fact, i'm not sure kids should be watching that!! The Seeker
I think the worst scenes were when the hedgehogs were run over by a car and when the Badger nearly drowned. And when they all sneaked into a garden in order to drink from the swimming pool.
Blue Fish
Oh my goodness how could I forget those scenes?? They are now brought back into sharp relief...thanks for the re-trauma to my Childhood-self Seeks....
Lucky
Since I'm in the same age range as Joe, bazooka, bluesboy, edna, and RonJon my memories are much the same. I think they forgot: Lost In Space Wagon Train Gumby Alfred Hitchcock Presents TopCat The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour Laugh In I was lucky (ok, still am ), my timespan was such that I enjoyed both 50's and 60's shows either in reruns or originals. Let's not forget too, the shows you HAD to watch, like Lawrence Welk and those lovely King Family holiday specials.
