CanAm
As I have not yet nominated a Beatles song and as I cannot have Led Zeppelin catch my beloved Beatles in terms of # of nominations, I hereby nominate the following: Ticket To Ride - The Beatles Pleasant Valley Sunday - The Monkees

TheTallOne
I've already nominated this, but I just wish such a great (but not very popular) song could make the top ten. Hopefully Connor knows this one, and he will be here to help it out. It has a great video, and you can see it here. And it most certainly didn't make the top ten last time - I put it at number one, but only one other person voted for it. This is the most underrated Floyd song (behind "Great Gig In the Sky") from their most underrated album. I love this song. It will be getting my vote. TheTallOne
I have faith that the third time will be the charm, dear Dappled. Woo for Steely Dan! Steely Dan is amazing. Plus you can't beat how they got they name of their band (you can try, but you won't win).
TheTallOne
Two comedic epics: "Albuquerque"- Weird Al "City Hall"- Tenacious D I know I'm posting a lot, but I want to get promoted. The only thing you can say about the D is :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: . However, "Albequerque" makes me want to puncture my eardrums. OLD 55
I'd like to complain about Led Bloody Zeppelin. (But I LIKE Whole Lotta Love). Maybe we should have a "wide open" Top Ten soon and nominate SUPER HITS. Let The Zep, Beatles, Stones, Floyd, Jimi, etc. all compete against each other. Maybe after the "ULTIMATE TOP TEN" is decided ?

We can't exactly make people nominate popular songs, but we could pop it up as a suggestion for one top ten soon.
OLD 55
Good on you Chris. I really should have kept my opinions about "Super Groups/Artists" to myself. We do usually have a very well balanced Top Ten. I always look forward to seeing the outcome. Maybe we can have one "BREAKOUT" Top Ten though and nominate some really CLASSIC songs (except Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin, Hotel California - The Eagles, Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen which are permanent residents in the Songacts Top Tens - and DESERVEDLY so !) c_s_1987
We have gone a long time without "Satisfaction", "Hey Jude" etc. being nominated. Maybe it would be a good way of making them come out of hiding.

Judo
CS, Hey Jude has been on my lista for quite a while now, I've been putting it back thinking we've had too much of the Beatles. Hey Jude will be my next nomination if no one beats me to it.
