My younger brother and sister are taking his loss especially hard. My heart is breaking because I can't be there with Mom right now. She and my sister are working on shutting down his business, and I'm feeling that intense sense of responsibility my father instilled in me. I should be there to help them... We're going back next weekend, though. He's being cremated (his wishes) and we'll be spreading his ashes on the banks of the pond he dug out at our family home. He's being cremated (his wishes) and we'll be spreading his ashes on the banks of the pond he dug out at our family home. We cremated my grandma, and im so glad we did.
