TheLizard
If the Arctic Monkeys are nominated for anything, they will win. The media is absolutely in love with them. I think they're alright, but Black Holes and Revelations is the best album on that list IMO.
Earth-Angel
I would have gone with any of these: Arctic Monkeys, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not Editors, The Back Room Guillemots, Through The Windowpane Hot Chip, The Warning Muse, Black Holes And Revelations Hot Chip would have been my first choice though
Malakin
Man, I wish someone could explain to me what it is I'm missing with these Arctic Monkeys.. I've listened to them, I've pretty much hated it. What's the appeal that's turned them instantly into the biggest thing since sliced Spice Girls? Levis
I would have expected them to win. I do like them... fake tales from San Fransisco etc.
Red Fish
Man, I wish someone could explain to me what it is I'm missing with these Arctic Monkeys.. I've listened to them, I've pretty much hated it. What's the appeal that's turned them instantly into the biggest thing since sliced Spice Girls? Same here (not so much hated as I didn't understand it, though ). I've only heard one or two songs, but it was sorta like... meh. I checked them out because I heard Chris Martin was a fan of them. *shrugs*
