c_s_1987
Basically everyone from Seinfeld is remembered as their characters in the show.
Uncle Joe
True, except for Kramer (for me anyway). I'll always think of Michael Richards from his early TV days on "Friday" (Friday night/Sat. morning at 1 AM) where for 2 1/2 years he played a role called "Battle Boy" where he would play with miniature army men before blowing them up. He did the sound effects and all. He was truly insane.
Ombre Vivante
I remember Michael Richards from the roles he did in Problem Child and UHF. Very funny guy no matter what you give him.

Uncle Joe
Me too, Ron. I'm disappointed that it's never seen in syndication. A lot of good people got their leg-up-starts on that show.
RonJonSurfer
Within the last year I saw a clip where Andy Kaufmann (with the knowledge of the producers) was intentionally unprofessional. Messing up lines, missing cues, etc. The cast didn't know and it was "Live". Michael Richards was especially preturbed and just about went over a table at Andy. Uncle Joe
Kauffman was never my cup of tea except when he was doing his Elvis impersonation.

RonJonSurfer
I liked his Mighty Mouse skit too. I thought it was funny how he knocked Richards out of character...all of a sudden, the "goofy" Richards was exposed as a serious actor and comedian...which he was and is. Uncle Joe
Yes, forgot Mighty Mouse. And true, Richards does take his comedy work seriously as evident on occasion when Seinfeld would show their out-takes.
