PSYCHOcatholic Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Lol, i almost made this post, but...i already make too many random posts.
Red Fish Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 Can we do Google Video too? Here's a bunch of crap I have saved to a file... Delta One rocket explosion Fireworks factory explosion Iraqi Sandstorm Bird imitating sounds like chainsaws and camera shutters Swallowing magician Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager episodes 1 and 2
Batman Posted September 2, 2006 Report Posted September 2, 2006 I'll post the three best music videos of the current year. Even if you don't like the music, the quirkiness is awesomely awesome! But the first two songs are actually great! (weirdness) Hot Chip - Over and Over (even though it's hip hop, watch it) Dr. Octagon - Aliens (awesome treadmill dance) OK Go - Here It Goes Again
Skuff Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 My entire 'Videos' folder: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwSUlgJ0css http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrBUQzNOn0o&search=love%20shack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sud-IdjIV-o&search=billy%20joel%20%20we%20didn%27t%20start%20the%20fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiVFFM-OR44 http://youtube.com/watch?v=NCD9on_QcXU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQa_-1EVqjY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWUHvz-RRhs&search=george%20harrison%20when%20we%20was%20fab http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhUY80vvhqU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3ASYotyRyw&NR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8g6LZRMNRk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZjCGF57v4Q&search=beatles%20real%20love http://youtube.com/watch?v=qQYnObuhorM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od93fFqGEok&search=Steppenwolf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AagjfUrZxOY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pwap79uy1G8 http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZrBDivsSe3k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD-M_ZK-It8&NR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JHC_-suAVU
Ken Posted September 3, 2006 Report Posted September 3, 2006 Are what is required for this post. I found this on YouTube, and it's like reclaiming 7 minutes of your childhood. This Tex Avery cartoon is hysterical. Enjoy.
Mike Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Posted September 4, 2006 Oh Ken, you will love this page - http://www.tvparty.com/vaultcom2.html
Mike Posted September 4, 2006 Author Report Posted September 4, 2006 Around here we used to have a local beer company called Rainier beer (named after Mount Rainier) widely popular, but a bad tasting beer (probably why they're gone now). But their commercials were GREAT!
Farin Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Who's right? Christianity or Islam? Look here
TheLizard Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 That just about proves that those are the three funniest people on the planet.
Jenny Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 That was awesome...I don't stay up late enough to watch the Daily Show anymore
Jenny Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 I'll post the three best music videos of the current year. Even if you don't like the music, the quirkiness is awesomely awesome! But the first two songs are actually great! (weirdness) Hot Chip - Over and Over (even though it's hip hop, watch it) Dr. Octagon - Aliens (awesome treadmill dance) OK Go - Here It Goes Again I finally got around to watching these...I love Hot Chip and OK Go. I'm going to check them out. The Dr. Octagon one gave me a headache!! Still, it was original and a lot of money was spent to make it look like something some kids did in their garage.
Otokichi Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 Hmm, beer commercials as retro art? I wrote "tv museum" for a Google! search and found a number of TV/broadcast media sites for the likes of "Max Headroom" to "Boston Public." It looks like this is the start of a long, strange journey...
Mike Posted September 14, 2006 Author Report Posted September 14, 2006 I posted this in another thread, but thought it might get overlooked. Johnny Depp ride Pirates of the Carribean and gets a close look at his look alike.
PSYCHOcatholic Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 I saw it in the other thread, it was amazing! The way the eyes are, its awesome!
Mike Posted September 14, 2006 Author Report Posted September 14, 2006 My wife mentioned that it was really cool, I mean "he will forever be enshrined in this ride". Pretty cool huh. Only living person to be animated in a theme ride.
Kevin Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 They did a really good job on it ! I'm pleased , as well , that it appears they have kept the ride fundamentally the same and not gone overboard with trying to make it a promotion for the films by having the new characters dominate it . They are there , but subtly so , so fans can note them while the original charm of the ride is intact .
Shawna Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 that is very cool! I thought, though, that Harrison Ford was put in character at Disneyland in the "Indiana Jones Adventure" ride... could've sworn I saw him...
MarcM Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 That is crazy! It was almost as if Captain Jack was listening to JD talk.
Jenny Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 I'm going see it next week! I'm hoping my daughter doesn't get scared, but so far, she hasn't gotten scared at much!
Tenacious_Peaches Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Mike, that was supremely cool and more than a little creepy. An animatronic Johnny Depp? Where can I buy me one of those?
TheLizard Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 that is very cool! I thought, though, that Harrison Ford was put in character at Disneyland in the "Indiana Jones Adventure" ride... could've sworn I saw him... He was. Indiana Jones, Pirates, and the Haunted Mansion are the best rides in the park. The mountains rock too. Heck, the whole place is awesome.
