Mike
Are there songs on cd's that you habitually skip? Maybe you don't like it, maybe you have heard it too much? (thank you radio) Or for those of you who misinterpreted this topic. Are there songs that you "Skip to my Lou, ...my darlin'?"

Rose
Even though I am ashamed to be skipping a Beatles song when I am a Beatles fan, but seriously, I have heard 'A Hard Days Night' way too many times.

Shawna
I don't skip anything. I burn my own CDs these days so there's nothing on them I don't like.
skybluesky
Shawna, I have decided to follow that same policy, but then I think of other ways I could make the CDs, so I remake them, then I think of songs I missed, so I make more. My apartment is going to be nothing but CDs soon.

skybluesky
There's a lot of Dylan I skip, but I really love what I don't skip.
Ombre Vivante
I'm sure I skip tracks, but I can't think of any at the moment. Usually, I like the experience of the whole album. In my case, if I were to skip tracks, it would be to get to my favourite song in a LP (not because I don't like the other songs).

My apartment is going to be nothing but CDs soon. I do exactly the same thing! I skip songs all the time, not necessarily because I dislike them, but because I'm not in the mood for that song, or I've already heard it ten times today or because it's raining.... Red Fish
Quicksilver Girl - The Steve Miller Band Gck. Judo
I don't skip anything. I burn my own CDs these days so there's nothing on them I don't like. Way to go Shawna. Been doing the same of late. Here's what I do for old/existing CDs. I strip the entire CD to MP3 format on the PC, DELETE the tracks I dislike (would like to skip) and then burn the rest onto a fresh CD which I usually play in the car. I enjoy music best in a car especially if I can get somebody else to do the driving. The original CD stays intact as a backup.
The Seeker
Welcome -- The Who As much as I love Tommy...actually I'm listening to Welcome right now, it's alright after 2 minutes or something, but this whiney 'come to us' is just dreadful.
