Jon Bon Jovi: 'No More Acting'

He's been left so exasperated by industry protocol he's giving up on films.

Jon Bon Jovi has threatened never to act again after slamming Hollywood as "a rotten existence."

The 44-year-old has previously taken time out of his hugely successful rock career with Bon Jovi to appear in a number of television and film roles - most recently political series The West Wing.

But he's been left so exasperated by industry protocol he's giving up on films altogether to concentrate on his band.

Bon Jovi says of Tinseltown, "It's a pretty rotten existence to be in.

"It is a lot better for me being the director, producer and star when you make a record than it is to go and stand in that long line and wait for your audition."

Triumph the Insult Comic was interviewing the members of Bon Jovi a few years ago. Apparently Jon was acting in some sort of vampire movie at the time. Triumph asked Jon how it felt to be involved in something that actually required him to suck.
