skybluesky Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 Rufus Wainwright. I know he is gay, but I simply adore him. Same with Michael Stipe.
daslied Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Holy crap, I love Rufus Wainwright. In a bromance kind of way, of course. Um, musically, I mean.
Earth-Angel Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 100% with you on both counts! Rufus is beautiful and Michael is so ethereal.
DiggsUK Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Johnny, your predeliction for butch ladies in white knickers reminds me of the old joke: What's got six legs, three heads and likes pie? You, me and Martina Navratilova!!! Sorry ladies... ahem...
skybluesky Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'm also seriously crushing the bald dude from OK Go. Any one who has serious moves like that whilst dancing on a treadmill is hot.
edna Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I like Michael Stipe too... only I prefered him when he was younger...
Tenacious_Peaches Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 What's got six legs, three heads and likes pie? You, me and Martina Navratilova!!! Diggsy my man, I absolutely love you!
Earth-Angel Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'm crushing on the dude in the skeleton suit from Hot Chip in the Over & Over video. And Bjork.
Ombre Vivante Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 But Bjork is cute. I'd have, like, a buncha babies with her.
Sweet Jane 61 Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Melissa Etheridge...I just love her voice and talent. She is beautiful inside and out. I know I am a chick, but there is just something about her.
johnnyguitar Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Melissa Etheridge...I just love her voice and talent. She is beautiful inside and out. I know I am a chick, but there is just something about her. Twins for Melissa and Tammy Rocker and activist Melissa Etheridge and her partner Tammy Michaels are delighted to announce the arrival of their son Miller Steven and their daughter Johnnie Rose on Tuesday October 17, 2006. Tammy and the babies are in excellent health. Statement from Melissa and Tammy: “The creation of life brings about immeasurable love, and pours hope into the future… The joy will help carry us through our upcoming sleepless nights.†They divulged in April that Michaels was pregnant by way of an anonymous sperm donor. Etheridge also said at the time that while this is their first time conceiving together, it is not their first time parenting, as Michaels has been an active presence for the past five years in the lives of Etheridge's two kids with ex-partner Julie Cypher.
Sweet Jane 61 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 (edited) so what are you saying johnny??? that I have a chance with Melissa if I carry a child for her??? Ok I can do that! Edited November 2, 2006 by Guest I had to correct that typo. Joe
edna Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 I thought David Crosby was the biological father of Etheridge´s child... or children...
skybluesky Posted November 2, 2006 Author Report Posted November 2, 2006 He was the biol. father of her first 2 kids w/ julie cypher, but i don't know if he fathered these new twins
Levis Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 My 'odd' crushes are odd because they are usually much older than me. My current favourite is Bill Nighy
Earth-Angel Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I thought you meant Bill Nye - The Science Guy SCIENCE RULES!
blind-fitter Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Bill Nighy is cool, such a great voice...(speaking voice, that is. I've never heard him sing...)
Levis Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I heard him sing in Love Actually where he played a rock star making a comeback with a cheesy, cliche-ed, sickeningly sweet Christmas song. He wasn't too bad. I like his hair. And I also saw him in The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Small part but still great to watch him
Levis Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 But his being cool doesn't make him un-odd, right?
blind-fitter Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I had some vague feelings, which might be described as a crush but I would prefer to regard as "an unspoken admiration", for Chumbawamba vocalist Alice Nutter. I can't do this photo thing, (maybe somebody could talk me through t again... ), but there are some photos of Alice here if you're unsure who I mean: http://www.geocities.com/q-25.geo/cwpan.html This "admiration from afar" business can be a bit awkward. I knew Alice through being in bands in the same city / music scene: we supported Chumbawamba a couple of times and Alice once interviewed me and my band-mates for Maximum Rock'n'Roll... She was a fine combination of friendly, funny and feisty. I once invoked her ire by referring to fellow Chumba Dunstan as a "tw*t": she wasn't vexed at me insulting her colleague, but that I had used a sexist epithet to do so. But then on another occasion, she grumbled entertainingly about some feminextremist weirdos who had declared her a pariah on account that she chose to wear make-up on special occasions... Don't tell her about this, will you? We still live in the same city, I'm a respectable married man, etc...Careless talk costs lives,'n all that....
johnnyguitar Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I assume that 'Nutter' is a nom de plume and she is really called Mavis Beckinsthorpe or something? I couldn't help noticing a resemblance to the young Martina Navratilova....hmmmm, sexy!
blind-fitter Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 I do know her by her original real name, having first met her when "Alice Nutter" was just a stage name. However she changed her name by deed poll over ten years ago. I haven't seen her to talk to for quite a few years. If I met her now, I'm not sure how I would undress her...errrr....I meant address her , of course ....
skybluesky Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 Peaches can have Jables. My heart belongs to the KG half of the D. Kyle Glass just makes me smile, with his love of spine piercings and clog dancing.
Blue Fish Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 (edited) I used to have a crush on Alan Davis, that was so wierd as my mom did too... Edited November 4, 2006 by Guest
