RonJonSurfer
I saw her and Elton do a duet of "Don't Go Breakin' My heart" live at Madison Square Garden. I can't account for her whereabouts for the 30 or so years since then.

rtstuff
Hey RonJon. This has nothing to do with music, but in 1968 I did a live radio feed from Madison Square Garden of an NIT basketball game between Marshall and St. Peters college. It was a thrill of a liftetime for me. It was carried by the Marshall campus radio station that I worked for during my undergrad years. Much to my dismay the Peacocks won in triple overtime. A cat by the name of Elnardo Webster scored 51 for the Peacocks. rtstuff.
RonJonSurfer
Pretty cool. I played golf in NY yesterday and we were talking about how we used to come in from NJ as kids to watch events at MSG. I remember concerts, sports and even a few roller derby matches. Roller derby brought an unusual crowd to MSG...more unusual than usual. The highlight was the beer vendors served us even though we we like 15 years old. Our parents never worried about us back then, even going into the city...a different world now I think.
