RubberSoul
As he writes in the credits, there is and organ song with light cymbal beat... what is this song... really cool mellow tune... many thanks!
Tenacious_Peaches
I'm not sure if this is it, but the first song on the soundtrack is "America" by Simon & Garfunkel. Try this - click on this link Amazon and scroll down until you see the "Listen to Samples" section. "America" is the first song listed. See (or hear) if it rings a bell. Hope this helps! ::
RubberSoul
Thanks for the help... but I'm a real Classic Rock afficianado. I've looked everywhere for it. (I'm a big S&G fan, I know it's not the one) But thank you again for your post!!!

Sara
Tough question! I think the music you're looking for may be part of the film's original score. The score was written by Nancy Wilson, Cameron Crowe's wife & ex-Heart singer. Crowe and his wife also wrote original songs together for the movie. I'll let you know if I can dig up anything else! An interesting fact I found, the hand that is writing the credits belongs to Cameron Crowe.
MuzikTyme
I reckon I just about know most of the trivia for Almost Famous except the sniplet that you are referring to. I don't reckon you are regarding the Chipmunks' Christmas song as the hand writes during the opening credits?
MuzikTyme
Sorry, double post. Since I'm here, is Kate Hudson just like her mother or what?

Tenacious_Peaches
Sorry, double post. Since I'm here, is Kate Hudson just like her mother or what? I think so, especially as she gets older. My husband has always said he would like to make a Goldie/Kate sandwich.
