Levis
I like Bugs Bunny more than Daffy Duck.
The Seeker
I'm still waiting for Calvin & Hobbes to be turned into a cartoon on TV.

The Seeker
I like that, Peaches! It's almost as good as a cartoon. Edited July 25, 2006 by Guest
Tenacious_Peaches
My love for Calvin & Hobbes is so pure that I almost don't want them to make a cartoon of it. It just won't be the same.
The Seeker
I know...that's the downside of most comics being turned into cartoons.
daslied
How do you feel about those window stickers that show Calvin peeing on certain hated NASCAR driver numbers?
Tenacious_Peaches
I die a little inside every time I see one.
Crazy Don
"Calvin & Hobbes" will become a cartoon over Bill Watterson's dead body. He refuses to merchandise his characters!
RonJonSurfer
Besides, what voice would they used for the main characters. We all know what Charlie Brown sounds like because of TV specials....but do we want somebody telling us what Calvin sounds like??? No! Let our imaginations rule. daslied
Agreed. Garfield was forever ruined for me when they made a cartoon out of it. Damn you, Lorenzo Music. Damn you to hell.

I love him for that. And that's why I get so mad when I see those little rip-off Calvin stickers. Edited July 25, 2006 by Guest To clarify what post I was referring to. Get off my back about it. Uncle Joe
I agree. Can Watterson be persuaded to do a reunion tour of sorts? C&H is sorely needed.
MindCrime
Agreed. Garfield was forever ruined for me when they made a cartoon out of it. Damn you, Lorenzo Music. Damn you to hell. I actually liked the Garfield cartoon more than the comics, it also had another sunday newspaper comic called U.S. Acres on it & a 15 second short at the end of every episode, which was a real comic turned into cartoon. The Seeker
I'm just saying...I couldn't imagine Calvin's voice either, it'd just be nice, you know?
MindCrime
I found a pretty cool website with Calvin comics, it also has Garfield, the classic Doonesberry, & the unfunny lethargic Cathy. Calvin & Hobbes Comics
MindCrime
Nevermind about that site, it requires Adobe Flash Installed to use it, unless you have that or the time to bother with it.

Batman
Speed Racer always pissed me off because there was a commercial where he was driving along Scooby and the gang in the Mystery Machine, and he ran them off the road.
MindCrime
Scooby Doo was a favorite of mine, but only the old classic ones. Those mini-scooby kids & the latter version featuring different voices; those cartoons were awful.
